YMCA, Kuwait conducted 6th Interchurch Bible Quiz

YMCA Kuwait conducted its 6th Interchurch Bible Quiz competition at Light House Church, NECK, Kuwait City. The program was inaugurated by Dr. A.T. Varghese (Patron). 10 Churches participated and 6 of them entered the final round. After a tough competition, St. Peters CSI Church, won the first prize - Mariam Ever rolling Trophy, St. Thomas MarThoma Church, Salmiya secured second prize - Dr. A.T. Varghese Ever rolling Trophy and IPC Mangaf won the third prize - Mathew Eapen Ever rolling Trophy.

Rev. Jacob Thomas (Vicar – St. Gregorious Indian Orthodox Maha Edavaka), Rev. Eldhos Palayil (Vicar - St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Reesh Church), Rev. Prince Korah (Vicar – St. James MarThoma Church) distributed trophies & mementos to the winning teams. Mr. Mathew Varkey (Vice President) presided over the function, and Mr. Joseph M.A. (Convener) welcomed the guests and Mr. Parimanam Manoj (Gen. Secretary) proposed a vote of thanks.

The quiz was conducted on the basis of questions from all Chapters from book of Exodus, Joshua, Acts of Apostles, 1st Corinthians & 2nd Corinthians.

Quiz Masters Mr. Cherian N. George, Mr. E. M. Jacob conducted the quiz section with the technical support of Mathew John, Varghese Mathew, Byju N.B., Ligish Joy. Mr. Ajosh Mathew compered the program.

The first prize winners of St. Peters CSI Church, Kuwait comprised of its members Mrs. Tittu Anish, Mrs. Saumya Thomas, Mrs. Roney Ajosh.

The second prize winners of St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church, Salmiya members comprised of its members Mrs. Jolly Mathai Kochumman, Mrs. Sheeja Susan Thomas, Reeney Anu Abraham.

The third prize winners of IPC Church, Ahmadi comprised of Mrs. Susan Sajan, Mrs. Jessy Shiju, Mrs. Biji Anil.
