Upkar Association celebrated Diwali Night 2018

Upkar Association Kuwait, one of the modestly large Association of Indians formed in Kuwait, celebrated its Diwali Night Grand Party on 9th November, 2018 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Kuwait. Diwali is traditionally celebrated as the Festival of Lights where people meet their near and dear ones to exchange festive greetings.

The event was presided over by the First Secretary of the Indian Embassy, Mr. Krishan Kumar Pahel.

Despite the stormy weather, Upkar members turned up in large numbers to get together and celebrate the festival. All the members were dressed up for the occasion, and exchanged festive greetings- it felt as though everyone was in India!

Upkar Parivar members and invited guests participated in dance as well as games organized. Upkar gave away a number of spot prizes during the celebration and also felicitated talented children who achieved milestones in academics and other activities. There was also a Lucky Draw with a prize of a silver coin!
