Uncertainty over; First flight with domestic workers from India to arrive on 23rd

After an indefinite delay on the return of domestic workers from India and other countries, the first flight with domestic passengers from India will arrive on Wednesday 23rd December.

According to sources, the first flight of Kuwait Airways carrying domestic passengers from India will arrive on Wednesday 23rd followed by another flight of Jazeera Airways on Friday.

Two Indian carriers Indian Airways and Air India express will also carry the domestic passengers from India. The Civil Aviation authorities at India and Kuwait agreed to allocate a quota for the number of domestic workers coming from India to Kuwait, by 400 passengers per day, including 200 passengers for Kuwait carries, Kuwait Airways and Al Jazeera, and 200 passengers for Indian carriers, Indian Airlines ad Air India Express.

According to sources, the flight with domestic workers from India and countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal and Srilanka were delayed as the civil aviation authorities in these countries demanded the participation of their national carriers in the plan. Sources added that the authorities are working to resolve the issue with other countries.

Dear Richard Thomas,
When your country or state start employing expats to the ratio of 4:1 against locals then you can ask the same question.
You are a guest in this country. Perhaps it is high time for people like you to find employment in your own country and after 1 year try to post such comments.
Indian Ambassador meetings with all the authorities in the world is not going to change the Kuwait govt. decision to balance the demographic by removing mostly Indian expats.

All certainty gone in the septic tank.
Dear iik, don''t misguide the innocent readers of your website by counting your eggs before they hatch.
If there is one lesson everybody has learnt by now, it is not to expect anything related to covid19 actions in kuwait.
Even sitting in the plane is not a guarantee you will reach your destination. Govt. can deny entry or ask to pilot to make u-turn and come back.
God bless everybody :)

Why are the Kuwaities so desperate to bring back Asian domestic workers. Why can''t Kuwait balance this sector as well with their own nationals as they try out to balance the Asian work force in the commercial sector with Kuwaiti nationals.
