The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health on Saturday reported 85 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections and two death in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 2080 and total deaths to 11 patients.
In a statement, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 34 patients were in intensive care 18 of them are in critical condition and 16 stable.
He added that the death cases reached 11 after confirming the death of a Somali resident (63 years old) and a 59 year old Bangladeshi.
Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 1,619 patients said the spokesperson.
Today's reported case include 14 Kuwaiti national, 37 Indian, 8 Bangladeshi, 8 Egyptian, 5 Pakistani, 2 Iranian, 1 Portuguese, 1 Palestinian, 1 Jordanian and 5 Syrian resident.
Earlier, the ministry announced the recovery of 45 new patients.
