Three people killed in a huge fire broke out at a house in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area on Thursday night. The details of the deceased are yet to be identified.
A statement from Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) blamed the disaster on poor safety precautions at the site, including inaccessibility to the bedrooms of the home and lots of scrap such as doors and iron bars that blocked the way of firefighters.
The statement urged landlords to make sure of the safety of their buildings and prevent tenants from storing scrap that could hinder firefighters and cause high numbers of victims.
