TEF – 2017 conducted its 2nd Technical Seminar as a full day program on 25th February 2017 @ Fintas Community Hall, Kuwait.
The program started with ‘THAMIZH THAI VAZHTHU’, WELCOME ADDRESS & KURALODHAL (Recite of Thirukkural)
TEF President Mr. G. Muthukumar welcomed the participants & talked about the initiatives of TEF, along with the other Tamil Associations of Kuwait in supporting the formation of ‘HARVARD TAMIL CHAIR’; also announced that the flagship program of TEF “Technological Innovations Conference and Exhibition” will be conducted on 5th Nov 2017 at Hotel Radisson Blu and requested the members to participate in large numbers to make it grand success.
Morning program had parallel sessions, one for the members: technical seminar "LOPA, SIS and practical challenges" and the other for Ladies: Kodai Vizha - Phase – I. Also had an interactive session on “Adolescent Care” by Mrs. Shantha Mariam, Principal “Indian Community School” for all.
Technical Seminar on "LOPA, SIS and practical challenges" was handled by Mr. Bala Elamaran, Process Automation Group Leader, & Mr. R.M. Subramanian, Senior Process Automation Engineer from Technology Improvement Department, Equate in an exceptional way. The tutors had made the session interesting, interactive and beneficial. The program had enriched the knowledge of the member engineers.
During the discussion on ‘Adolescent Care’, Mrs. Shantha shared her vast experience with the problems & behavior of the students due to the changes in the metabolism of the body with counselling and solutions. The session had thrown light on the Care to be taken with respect to the child of adolescent age, which was interesting & interactive.
The evening program was a mesmerizing one, which was handled by one of the most famous Social Activist, an Environmental Activist, Organic Farming Activist & practitioner Mrs. Revathi from India, on “Mother Soil”. Madam REVATHI shared her vast experience on revival of soil condition, disaster management, healthy vegetables, etc. Entire audiences were frozen upon listening her speech & sharing of her experiences.
The event ended with an appeal to the cause of NEL JAYARAMAN and vote of Thanks by the General Secretary Mr. P. Sethu Madhavan, followed by a Delicious Dinner.
