Indian students and teachers welcome NEET exam center in Kuwait

In a historic first, the principals, students and the parent community from Kuwait appreciated the Indian Government's decision to start a NEET exam center in Kuwait.

The "NEET Day" was organized by the Indian Embassy on the requests of students, parents and teachers and many Indian Professionals in Kuwait.

1000s of students and their parents virtually joined the NEET Day celebration to share the happiness on a historic decision by the Government of India to allot Kuwait as the first center for NEET examination outside India. The event was attended by principals of all Indian schools and representatives of various Indian professional associations.

"I was happy to see the overwhelming response of our students, parents and teachers who welcomed the decision by Government of India and thanked our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Hon'ble Education Minister Shri Dharmedra Pradhan Ji," Ambassador Shir Sibi George said in his inaugural remarks.

Our children are facing multiple challenges in this COVID-19 pandemic, including uncertainties related to examinations. I had promised you earlier to leave your worries to elders and concentrate on your studies. Our Government back home in India is fully committed to addressing our community's concerns, including our children abroad, face. And we seen now, in a historic first, Government of India has allocated a center for Kuwait for the conduct of NEET examinations, Ambassador said.

Pravasi Bharatheeya Samman awardee Shri Rajpal Tyagi briefed about the NEET exam and thanked the Indian Government for allowing the NEET exam center in Kuwait. Principal of Indian Educational School (Bhavans) Mr T Premkumar thanked Ambassador Shri Sibi George for proactively taking all steps, especially for the benefit of the student's community during this pandemic time. This will be greatly remembered by the Indian diaspora in Kuwait, he said. Asha Sharma, Principal of Indian Learners Own Academy, said that the benefit of appearing NEET exam in Kuwait itself when the students are with their parents and teachers would give an emotional boost for the students to perform well in the exam. Students need not worry about their travel, accommodation, locating and going to exam centers etc. She also thanked Ambassador for his tremendous support to achieve this. Mr Ravi Ayanoli, DPS Principal, also thanked Ambassador for this effort in getting the NEET center in Kuwait. Mrs Tasneem Billa, principal of AMSP Indian school, also spoke.

Representing the NEET aspirants, Mrs Natasha Maria of Carmel School and Mrs Mahalya Mohan of ICSK, expressed their gratitude for allocating the NEET Exam center in Kuwait.

During the Event Embassy also distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions the Embassy organized as part of the Yoga Day. The winners received certificates and prizes from Ambassador Shri Sibi George.

The event was coordinated by Indian Embassy first secretary Mr Fahad Soori.

Where is the NEET center in Kuwait.can some one.provide the address.

I hope and wish that the NEET center in Kuwait is justified with many students qualifying in the exam and joining the Medical stream.
