Shuwaikh B Garden - Small is beautiful

Here is a saying 'Old is gold and small is beautiful'. I am talking about a garden which I saw Last week at Shuwaikh residential area when I was there for a meeting with the General Manager of Black pearl Boutique Co. On the way to their office, I saw this amazing garden which was absolutely the kind of Indian gardens. I was literally wondered of seeing such a nice garden in a residential area. The plants, flowers and even the soil in the garden are exactly the same as of our home land. With this comparison, I mainly target Indians who are nostalgic of their homeland and who are looking for watching Indian nature in Kuwait. I have never seen such a place anywhere in Kuwait. If anyone knows about any similar gardens, please share the details.

After the interview, even though the sun was about to set, I went to the garden and had a few photos using my mobile. As my mobile battery was low, I couldn’t take more photos and I had to leave immediately to get back to room. At first, I was hesitated to enter the garden as there were no expatriates in and around the garden. Above all, only citizens were jogging in the garden. That garden is full of beautiful plants and flowers and entirely looks like a paradise. Best place for an evening walk even though the garden is comparatively smaller than any other garden I have seen in Kuwait.

Whoever jogging and cycling there never care for the visitors. So, anyone can have a visit and take photos. Some luxurious villas in this area are adorned by small gardens. I saw some Indian domestic workers in front of many villas nurturing the plants and flowers there.Location: Shuwaikh B Residential area, Block 1, Street 15. Shuwaikh residential area is on the right side while going towards City Center through Jahra Road. Enter Jahra Road from Maliya Round about; take first right, go straight about 20 meter and look for the garden on the right side.
