Online Health insurance for expatriates from today

Ministry of Health today activated the automated system for health insurance for expatriates, which allows the expatriates to make the payment of the insurance fees through a special website.

The online health insurance is available for all expatriates under the Articles 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 24.

The source explained that the residency departments will continue to receive the paper health insurance issued by the company, until the first of next March. From 1st of March 2019, the manual system of paying Heath insurance will be closed.

Expatriates can make the health insurance at https://insonline.moh.gov.kw/Insurance/onlineLogin.jsp without any additional charges.

When i tried to pay online insurance it was showing " Insurance cannot be paid now. Please contact MOI for further clarification" error coming.. Can anyone tell me what is it and how i pay insurance online.The new company was not able to pay insurance in the system.

@Binu you can always login to Online Health Insurance System and download the receipt there. Just enter your civil ID and the password sent to your email. Once you logged in go to your profile, click History and it will show you.

If you have done this through typing center, ask the guy for the password. Maybe they have entered their own email during registration.

Fir new born health insurance online you cannot do it until they have a residency number in the system. So you have to go to the immigration office and do a residency packet, get all the neccessary signatures then they will send you to their tech support to put the number in the system. In about two days you can go online and file for the insurance under the civil ID number on their birth certificate.

For renewal of family visa, what should be mentioned as start date while renewing insurance online.. As the validity of akama is still for a month but need to renew akama before that..

Insurance card not required anymore. Once the transaction is done
1. .you Can download a copy of receipt to your machine. Or
2.if you have registered your email then you will get a copy of your receipt.
You can print it and take it to Ministry of interior for residency purpose
You also have a History page from where you can print this report later on.

It has saved a lot of manhours for the progress of the Kuwait and a relax for the public from standing in a long queue for hours, and at Fahaheel center the signing person (mudeer) asking for finger prints from Indians for family residency and make them pay 5kd extra to the security.
