OICC Idukki District Committee has got new leadership. The election took place due the resignations of Mr. Sunny Manarkattu and Mr. Babu Parayani who were holding the positions of President and General Secretary respectively. The vacant position of Treasurer is also filled because former Treasurer Mr. Thomas Vezhambasseril, has recently been moved and settled in the United States.

The committee elected Mr. Joseph Mookenthottam as President, Mr. Tubin Kodamullil as General Secretary and Mr. Bijoy Kurian as Treasurer. Mr. Sunny Manarkattu presided over the meeting and Mr. Babu Parayani delivered the welcome speech. Mr. Biju P Anto, Mr. Sojan Mathew, Mr. Binoy Kalaythinal, Mr. Tom Edayodiyil, Mr. Pramod Peter and Mr. Mathew Areeparambil were among the persons who delivered felicitation speeches. The election meeting was concluded by the vote of thanks speech delivered by Mr. Baiju Paul.
