No renewal of work permit for those above 60 from Jan 1st

Public Authority for Manpower PAM will not renew the work permit for those who have reached 60 years of age with high school certificate starting from 1/1/2021.

Quoting sources, Al Anba daily confirmed that PAM is working on a mechanism for those included in this category to leave the country by making a final cancellation of travel according to the end of their residency period.

According to report, the work permit will not be renewed from Jan 1st and thus the work contract ends automatically.

this isn''t fair that only graduate above 60 can stay Life Long.
law should be fair to All. weather graduate or no above 60 residency renewals should nt be allowed.

This would bring nothing but atrociousness in the stability in regards to the economy & Family steadiness.

Kuwait should substantially reconsider this uncalled decision (Especially it''s a known fact the most of 60+ old expats are residing with their families).

May Allah guide the concerned authorities and revert this decision.

An apt decision considering many must have made a fortune by this age and could have a peaceful and stress less retired life fulfilling their dreams - However the taste of Dinars make them stay away from homeland and families !! Feel People should make self decisions without being forced by Governments.
