No of reported cases reducing; Kuwait reported 55 new cases; 3 death so far

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health on Tuesday reported 55 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections and one fatality in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of infections to 1,355 and deaths to three.

During its daily briefing, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 26 patients were in intensive care nine of them are in critical condition and 17 stable.

He added that the death cases reached three after confirming the death of a Kuwaiti female (79 years) in the last 24 hours, noting that she was in the intensive care unit.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 1,176 patients said the spokesperson, adding that 146 individuals have completed quarantine in the last 24 hours.

Today reported cases include 6 Kuwaiti national, 29 cases are for Indian nationals while others include 5 Bangladeshi, 5 Egyptian, 4 Pakistani, 1 Nepali, 1 Iranian, 1 Chinese, 1 Afghani, 1 Philippine and a Lebanon residents.

Earlier, the ministry announced the recovery of 26 new patients, bringing the total to 176 recoveries.

I humbly request Kuwait Ministry of health all new case- employees should be identified irrespective of their nationalties and their families and colleagues should be quarantined in roder to contain the spread. The respective companies must stop their commercial operations immediately to stop the virus from spreading.
