Concerned government agencies are looking to establish a new Friday market in Jahra Governorate, local Arabic media reported.
According to report, the new Friday market in Jahra will be designed with a different model. In order to ensure the safety of purchaser and to ensure consumer protection rights, an invoice will be mandatory for each sales in the new setup. Items should be able to return in case of defects within a specified period of days. Electronic payment will be in place at each sale counters.
Authorities are in preparation for contracting with a consulting company to study the project, sources reported.
