National Forum (NAFO) Kuwait conducted Kudumbasangamam-2020

National Forum (NAFO) Kuwait conducted ‘Kudumbasangamam’ on 07th February 2020, at “Chef Noushad’s Signature Restauarant”, at Farwaniya. The event started at 5.15 PM and concluded at 9.15 PM. The event was blessed with presence of large number of NAFO family members. The day was started with rendering of National Anthem of both Kuwait and India and lighting of traditional lamp by NAFO ladies wing senior members. NAFO Advisory Board member Shri. Vijayan Nair paid homage to legendary leader Shri. Mannathu Padmanabhan. Hon. President of NAFO, Shri. Vijayakrishnan presided the function and General Secretary Shri.Murali S Nair welcomed the gathering. Promising young singer and NAFO family member Master Rohit Shyam rendered a truly devotional song invoking divine blessing. Advisory Board member
Dr.Shri. Prasad Nair made a thought provoking speech highlighting NAFO’s origin, objectives charter members. Along with he delivered a truly motivational speech for outgoing NAFO students.

Ten students of NAFO family who completed their plus two studies and preparing for their final exams were awarded with specially designed mementos and certificates. Along with these students NAFO honored one Xth student who is leaving Kuwait for further studies and two other students who excelled in last year’s CBSE 10th Standard exams. In the same function, the Forum awarded 2020 prestigious NAFO Young Achiever’s award to Master Rohit Shyam who bagged several awards and accolades for curricular and extra curricular activities recently. Kumari Adaita Unnikrishnan and Master Ananth Milan were selected for encouragement awards in Young Achievers category.

NAFO Ladies Wing has arranged a beautiful skit by name “Add-Medley” which reproduced old TV advertisements of famous Indian and International brands and more than thirty talented NAFO kids made life to this skit. NAFO Ladies Wing has staged thrilling group song which was tribute to famous districts of South Indian State Keralam. Thereafter NAFO kids staged awesome ensemble of semi classical and contemporary dance forms.

During the program, the colorful flyer releasing ceremony of NAFO Anniversary program titled “NAFO Agni” was solemnized in presence of NAFO office bearers, “OnCost” COO, Shri.T A Ramesh and representative from Lulu Exchange Co. NAFO Agni is a two hour’s power packed audio visual treat conceived, designed and directed by legendary “Soorya Krishnamoorthy” and to be performed by a group of celebrities from South India. The meeting also unanimously consolidated the activity improvisation action plan for NAFO’s future goals.

NAFO Kudumbasangamam witnessed a few of other functions such as FAS (Family Assurance Scheme)certificate distribution and membership card distribution etc. NAFO presented a beautiful memento to departing NAFO member Shri.Prabhatkar and his wife Smt. Geetha Prabhatkar.

Organizing Secretary Shri.Vinayan Mangalasseri cast vote of thanks and the meeting dispersed for sumptuous dinner.
