Municipality prohibits children from entering malls and shops; Conditions set for shops

The Kuwait municipality issued a decision to prevent children from entering shopping centers and stores, as part of its efforts that contribute to limiting gatherings in shopping centers and preserving public health.

The municipality also issued several decisions, which includes, the availability of sterilization materials and gloves while entering a supermarkets and stores. Central markets and stores must check the temperature of workers and visitors before entering the site and inform the health authorities in case anyone's temperature exceeds 37 degree. The store must regulating the mechanism for individuals to enter the stores, so that they leave a distance of at least 1 meter between one person and another.

For food related market, the number of people does not exceed ten at each point of sale in proportion to the area of ??the shopping center, and as for shops, the number does not exceed 5 people at the same time provided that the commitment to leave a distance of not less than one meter between each person within the store from all sides, and if this condition cannot be met, the number of visitors to the store should be reduced in a manner that allows it to be fulfilled.

Municipality also stressed that it will take legal measures against violators and those who are not bound by these instructions.
