More than three million face masks arrived in Kuwait

More than three million face masks had arrived in Kuwait and face masks need to be used only by those who exhibit symptoms of respiratory disease and mingle with others, local Arabic newspaper Al-Shahid daily reported quoting Director of Infection Prevention Department in the Ministry of Health Dr Ahmad Al-Motawa.

Daily, quoting AlMutawa’a clarified that the main reason for using the face mask is if a healthy person provides medical care for patients with respiratory problems. He said there is no recommendation by any world organization to use face masks on the streets, ministries and everywhere.

Those infected with corona virus or those surrounding him use medical masks consisting of three layers – white, blue and filter layers – to absorb the humidity.

On the period of using face masks, he explained that if the person feels humidity; he should change the mask and remove it from behind without touching the front part. He affirmed it is not allowed to take off the mask and then use it again.

It is important to know how these masks are being distributed to the general public. For the last three days, I have been regularly checking with many pharmacies in Salmiya. Everyone says no stock. There is a hard one ( cup type ) available in a pharmacy and is being sold at a price of KD. 5 for 50 pcs
Suggest to distribute the normal type at a reasonable price.
