MoI WhatsApp number receives complaints from public

The WhatsApp number launched by the interior ministry receives an average of 121 messages daily and is increasing with time as more people are using it every day.

According to local media Kuwait Times report, around 10 administrative employees are handling this line and is connected to various sectors of the interior ministry and other ministries and institutions.

The WhatsApp hotline 99324092 was launched last month for the public for quick and easy communication with the ministry regarding various issues. The hotline operates 24/7 to receive complaints, suggestions, reports or queries for the Traffic Department. This service is also available in English for non-Arabic speakers.

Expats also can sent traffic violation to this number with the photo of the violation attached and the authorities will take appropriate action immediately, the report says.

Suddenly changing track without indication, during traffic jam people use to change track wherever they see empty space. A truck goes on speed, motor bike driver changes track etc. One safety act puts themselves and others on risk. Thank you MOI
