Malappuram brothers clinch One India Soccer championship

Malappuram brothers won the One India soccer championship with a one-sided Goal in the exciting final against Jahra eleven.

The Tournament, the third edition, was organized by One-India Association, held at the Dai’ya Al-Shaheed Football Stadium. Mr. V.S . Najeeb , the general secretary of Kerala Expats Football Association Kuwait (KEFAK ) distributed the 'One India Championship Trophy' and Cash Awards to the Champions. Mr. Vijayan Innasiya, convenor of One India association distributed the prizes to the runner-up, Jahra eleven.

Shanavaz is selected for ' golden boot' as the best player in the tournament with the outstanding performance and Nameer has been selected for 'golden glove' as the best goalkeeper.

KEFAK Vice President S.V. Safarulla, One India Association General Secretary Bibin Chacko, Eldo Abraham and Saju Stephen delivered speeches at the closing ceremony chaired by the event convener T.K. Shafi.

Prakash Chittezhath, Shibu John, Lins Thomas, Santhosh Kumar, Renjith Sam, Praveen John, Vinod Sebastian and Sabeeb Moideen led the various committees for the successful organizing of the Tournament.
