Hardly six months, with a three month summer vacation have passed since GIS celebrated its Silver Jubilee. The school auditorium once again throbbed with the captivating energy of her 26th Foundation Day celebration on 20 September, 2019. And the music-drama extravaganza feasting the senses, voicing delight, concern, warning, prayer and changes for the better stands testimony to the GISian’s creed: “Let efforts rise above excuses.”
The occasion was graced by Mr. Ghazi Faisal Al Dabbous, Owner & Chairman of Al Faisal Educational Establishment as Chief Guest, heads of various schools, manager Mr. Sreekumar, parents and well-wishers.
The august gathering was accorded a warm welcome by Keerthana Sunil the Head Girl. The Principal Mrs. Shyamala Divakaran in her inaugural address highlighted the activities & achievements of the school. It was followed by a power point presentation of the annual report.
A magnificent audience sat mesmerized by the grandiose of Varna Mayuram, Nirmal Dhaara, Music of Earth and so on…
The high achievers in both scholastic and non-scholastic areas from classes 1-12 were recognized with medals, trophies and scholarships.
Bidding adieu, Jeffrey Chackoria, Head Boy conveyed GISian’s sincere gratitude to each one for making the programme a grand success.
