Let The Saga of Hope Continue…..

Let The Saga of Hope Continue…..

Today we commemorate 73 years of India’s independence something which is undoubtedly synonymous to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation ,if it weren’t for him and our ancestors ,India perhaps wouldn’t have been an independent nation today, on this Independence day let’s take a moment to appreciate and acknowledge the real warriors behind this revolutionary period, the true edifices of valour and courage, who refused to bow in front of adversity, whose resilience was their forte, and the very reason we experience freedom. Now, when we no more could step out of our homes with the same sense of freedom we used to feel before, don’t let weeds take root or harmony elude us.

History demarcates the fact that hope is the most potent fuel, it was hope that at Champaran, Mahatma Gandhi adopted the approach of civil disobedience movement and launched demonstrations and strikes against the landlords, hoping that India will be free one day. It was hope that the Non-Cooperation movement was launched in 1920 by Mahatma Gandhi due to the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. It was with hope that Gandhiji started the movement with Dandi March from 12 March to 6 April, 1930 and it was hope with which Mahatma Gandhi launched Quit India movement on 8 August, 1942 during Second World War to drive British rule out of India.

Just like Gandhi, innumerable people are there whose contribution to India’s independence has been tremendous like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Bal Gangadhar Tilak,Dr. Ambedkarand the list goes on…..and adding to our patriotic fervour, are our soldiers, who guard us day and night, the martyrs who have shed their blood for our country.

Coming to the present situation, where uncertainty envelopes us, let’s be warriors rather than worriers and have hope just like Mahatma Gandhi and others, fretting of past and brooding over a future is quite common but always adopt a positive paradigm. I have been taught that it’s the law of nature that if one door closes another opens. Let’s keep hope! Earlier, humans had no time and was continuously indulged in rat race, when we were so busy to do things that sort of provided us illusory gratification

We never realized in lockdown how days melted to weeks, when humans traded riches of his/her soul for a fat bank account, our minds lost it’s lustre we no more brimmed with vibrancy. This pandemic has made many in our society floating like ships without rudders, I hope and pray may we test ‘negative’ in the laboratory of our lives, negative in all sort of hideous things whatsoever and may u find friendships and relations that transcend national borders and time zones …………
