Kuwait limits arriving passengers to 1000 per day

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued a decision to all airlines to reduce passengers arriving at Kuwait International Airport from January 24 to February 6.

According to the report, the DGCA stipulate that the number of arriving passengers should not be more than 1,000 passengers per day.

The decision is based on the health authorities' instruction to exercise caution during the next two weeks to control the Coronavirus and limit its spread.

The decision excludes domestic workers and transit passengers.

The decision is for two weeks until the completion of the private laboratories' preparation to work at Kuwait International Airport to conduct PCR test on all arriving passengers.

Airlines will re-schedule their flights during this period in a way that preserves the rights of all passengers.
