Interior minister urges abidance by new travel instructions

Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Ali Al-Sabah on Thursday called on travelers to abide by all health and regulatory instructions related to the fight against coronavirus.

The minister also asked all travelers to and from Kuwait register in 'Kuwait Mosafer application' to know all health and safety instructions and guidelines, according to a statement by ministry's department of security media and public relations.

He stated that all travelers have to make prior reservations for hotel quarantine and pay for two PCR tests in Kuwait.

The minister called on both nationals and residents to be committed to the instructions set by the health authorities to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Travelers will be allowed to travel only after registering in Kuwait Mosafer App and complete hotel reservation measures, he stressed.

Mrs Abdullah Friday, February 19, 2021 Travelers going on one way ticket from kuwait if they book prior hotel reservations Won''t that be a burden on the incoming passenger to kuwait?This will definetly cause unavailability of hotels and demand may arise and the basic fares will jump high.I request the authorities to look into this matter.What is the need to book now itself when we do not know the return date?
SN Friday, February 19, 2021 Hi, You need to contact hotel directly. Once payment done and booking confirmed concerned hotel staff has to upload in mosafer (separate account as hotel staff) with your PP, CID and ticket details. But as of now the uploaded details are not reflecting in our mosafer account. Regards

Durai Thursday, February 18, 2021 Sir, Is it required to register in Kuwait mosafer app and for hotels quarantine advanced booking to leave the country. I have valid visa for 1 year.My company giving 6 month long vacation. how can I book from now onwards?
