Indians continue to arrive in Kuwait via Dubai

As Kuwait continues the ban on direct entry of people from 32 countries, several Indians reaches Kuwait from India via 14 days' transit in Dubai.

According to the latest update, people with a valid visa can enter Kuwait from India if they stay in Dubai or any other countries, which is not in the ban list, for more than 14 days.

Several Indians arrived in Kuwait in the last few days, and many said that the procedure is simple if you follow the instructions.

You can take a visit visa to Dubai if you have minimum 6-month validity for your passport. You also must have a valid residency in Kuwait.

Several travel agencies in India are offering Dubai packages with visit visa. The passenger must conduct a PCR test from any ICMR approved centres in India within 96 hours of your travel to Dubai.

"There is one test at Dubai airport. If you are negative in that test, there won't be any quarantine. You can stay anywhere in Dubai. However, there is some restriction to travel to Abu Dhabi," one of the passengers who reached Kuwait said. After completing 14 days of stay in Dubai, on 15th day, you can do a PCR test from any of the approved centres. You will get the result within 12 hours. Once you received your result, you can buy the travel ticket to Kuwait. One thing you need to make sure that you must have either a valid Civil ID or you must have downloaded "Kuwait Mobile App" on your mobile phone, which shows a valid civil ID. You also need to download the "Shlonik" app on your phone, a passenger told IndiansinKuwait.com.

"I left Kuwait in February 1st week. It is almost seven months I am out of Kuwait, and I didn't face any issue while entering Kuwait,' one of the passenger who arrived on Thursday said. As per authorities, anyone who left Kuwait on or after September 1st 2019 can enter Kuwait if they have valid residency.

Once reach Kuwait, you must provide the details of your accommodation in Kuwait at one of the counters in Airport to activate the "Shlonik" app. You need to be in home quarantine in Kuwait for 14 days as per the current rule.

Hi Nandakumar Desai......

There is no pain for cumming via Dubai, have you seen the procedure?
Currently its is the only way to enter in Kuwait, as its required for people safety. You have to respect the country rules which is instructed here and follow as you are doing in india. Institutional quarantine is not possible in Kuwait as it was discussed long back and it not gonna work here unless the final decision comes from ministry, until then follow the rules please.

Dear IIK,
Salute to Indians taking so much pain to travel to Dubai for stay of 16 days at a high risk of C19 while spending huge amount of money, just for the sake of getting entry to Kuwait as per present guidelines. Will you please take up the issue to concerned authorities for consideration of subsequent 14 days in quarantine in Kuwait as medical leave or a paid leave ? This will be of great help out of humanity for lessening the struggle, pain and grief of travelling Indians. We will highly appreciate, if quarantine period is cancelled or reduced to 7 days as already done by other gulf countries.

Gr8 move by kuwait to support the tourism industries of its arab neighbours. Perhaps Europe, America & Australia can also impose similar ban on direct entry against kuwaitis and they can also stay 14 days in neighbouring countries before entering the final destination.
