Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sri Sibi George offered heartfelt condolence on the sad demise of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait.

"On behalf of the Government and the people of Republic of India, including the Indian Community in Kuwait, I express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of the State of Kuwait on the sad demise of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait", he said in his condolence message.

His Highness was a great leader, a statesman, and above all a humanitarian leader par excellence. His Highness was a voice of wisdom, balance and reason.

His Highness greatly contributed to the enhancement of the bilateral relations between India and Kuwait. The people of India will fondly remember His Highness.

The care and affection that His Highness showered upon the Indian Community in Kuwait would be deeply cherished. I sincerely pray for the departed soul; may his soul rest in eternal peace.
