Indian Ambassador made a surprise visit to Passport outsource centre

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sri Sibi George made a surprise visit to the Passport outsourcing centres at Jleeb. Ambassador interacted with the community members and enquired their issues and problems faced mainly in terms of various facilities and service while renewing the Passport and related services.

Earlier in the last week open house meeting, community associations had brought the issue of various difficulties faced on Passport related services. Ambassador had personally promised to look into those issues. The surprise visit to the outsourcing centres is believed to be his positive steps towards solving the problems faced by the community members.

It is learned that he had instructed the outsourcing centres to complete the processing of each application on the same day itself and to avoid any unnecessary difficulties to the applicant.

Kuwait is no longer what it used to be 3 or 4 decades ago. Now all Indian-majority residential areas look like slums or high-quality slums. No country want to lose its identity to migrants or expats, and that too in such high numbers. Some of these expats have infested Kuwait like an infection and refuse to move or change. They just want to reduce Kuwait to their idea of their country.
Well good luck to all such people who think they can get away with such destructive behaviour. Indian govt. is also ashamed of supporting its country when faced with mounting evidence of hundreds of violations.

Surprise visit... and taking photos dose not solve the issues faced by the community! At all the outsource centers everyone is disrespectful and mistreating attitude! Charges...LOOTING. I would like to ask our ambassador sir, please give your valuable feed back of your visit. Did you happen to see all the above/below comments and complaints? of misbehaving, disrespecting, over charging, delaying in the process without reason....Etc

HE Sibi George is going to understand very soon why Kuwait govt. want to get rid of Indian nationals as soon as possible.
Indians think this is their home and everything should be free service. And they want to live here forever. I hope the new ambassador will educate his countrymen that they are guest and they should not make a habit of complaining frequently or getting too comfortable in this country.
Also most of the middle-class and low-income Indians have been brought up with getting a knock on the head to encourage them to do anything. Hence their inability to view the tightening of various regulations and rules not as injustice and inhumanity but a passive and gentle way of telling people to leave - they are not wanted.
Kuwait govt. is trying its best to tell people to leave but many expats view this as a challenge to try harder and keep bending and twisting out of shape in order to stay on indefinitely. But Kuwait govt. should understand that we Indians have a high threshold for humiliation and unfavorable situations. And nothing short of a permanent ban and systematic removal of expats will work. All these measures of increasing cost and banning NOC is only waste of time and money.

Appreciate Your efforts Sir.
Please their charges are too high.
It is not that they are having less customers and so dont make much money.
If they charge half of what they are charging now for their services like for typing, taking photo, xerox etc they will still make a decent profit.
Please with the current exorbitant rates they are charging, they are looting us Indians.
Please get the rates reduced.

Dear Ambassador,

Good Move by you, but honestly tell you that from the Main Embassy till all the Passport Branches Counter Staff and Person Standing at Door to Guide are not Civilized and without Manners, all Passport Branches are Uneducated and dont have the Skills to Finish Fast so Embassy can do more Businesses, They just let you wait for Nothing ?
Same in the Main Embassy at Gulf Road, Kuwaitis are Welcome Faster and we wait for long time, why the Delivery of Documents are Taking 1 Hours and Above when the Counter Staff are taking Correct Documents.

Dear Ambassador

Well done sir, Please check the Indian community school is closed and many of the children not attended the school during past 6 months, School has given only 25 % discount but many parents still do not have jobs to pay 75% of Term-1 and Term-2.

Please intervene and solve the problem, Parents expecting more discount in the fees...

Hats off to you Sir, Keep up your good work. Just to bring to your notice, during past two weeks, I had visited Passport office in Sharq, Bebehani Bldg. for my passport renewal, I have noticed that the people are being disrespected esp. the labor categories, there is no mankind services at all. They are badly treated. This should not be the attitude towards people, each person should be treated in a professional way, maybe it be any one. Also, should there be prioritize services for emergency situations to expedite the process. Secondly, as we are charged for all the services, applications filled should be double checked and should be accurate, we should not be responsible incase of mistakes. Appreciate if the above mentioned is taken into consideration and all are treated equally. Thank you!!

These centers are looting, specially cox and kings are the biggest robbers, they are charging 3 KD for 4 photographs, 3 KD for form filling, if we fill form by our self or from other shops they aren''t accepting, they are charging 1 KD for a single page printout from whats app

Any positive action is good move. Excellent decision to complete processing each application the same day.
This is close to Gandhian principles to complete tomorrow''s work today - not quite, but close enough :)

Congratulations to the new ambassador to Kuwait.

After a long, long, time feeling a little bit proud of being an Indian. As everybody knows, we are all patriotic, but when our fellow Indians in authority acts irresponsible and unpatriotic, even if it is the Indian embassy, which is our only resort in Kuwait, we feel alienated and ''not at all proud''.

Once again Hats off to our new ambassador, who choose to be a real ''ambassador'' and not a rubber stamp. God bless you and we Indians are with you.

Good that the Indian ambassador made a visit to the passport outsourcing office. Everyday there is a big queue with out any social distancing and people are waiting in the sorching sun with their family members. When these centres are charging for the services , it is their responsibility to do the work fast .

He didn''t observe passport third-party contracting comparing how they r looting them by the name of submission form not filled properly pic does not look recent. and charging heavily for 4 pic.
even they r not going to use this form they must enter all the detail in the system than whats the meaning of form even after online submission of forms. and keeping some agents for typing near the branch cheat them twice.
