In less than 24 hours, another Indian expatriate attempted suicide from Sheikh Jaber bridge

In less than 24 hours after an Egyptian expatriate attempted suicide at Sheikh Jaber bridge, an Indian man tried to commit suicide by jumping from the Sheikh Jaber Bridge. The timely intervention of a civilian saved him.

According to the report, the Interior Operations Room received a call about jumping a person from Jaber Bridge, and a civilian managed to rescue him and hand him over to the security authorities.

It is identified that a 36-year-old Indian national parked his vehicle on the bridge and jumped himself from the bridge.

Yesterday evening, an Egyptian expatriate tried to commit suicide by jumping from the Sheik Jaber bride and was saved by the rescue team.

The source added that his health condition is stable, and he was referred to the police station to take legal measures against him. According to the report, he will be deported from the country.

whether second person really wanted to jump or just view the water or to take a selfi.
no one what''s running in individual mind.
if he has jumped then it can considered as suicide or else on what basis it can be concluded that its a suicide attempt.
better to make mandatory ''no stopping'' on the road.

I hope they put some security guards patrolling along this long bridge to avoid future suicide attempts.

Authorities should install safety nets below the bridge so that whenever someone jumps they land on the nets.
