The Country Heads of Six Govt of India, Public Sector Units operating in Kuwait, organized a function at Al-Murjan Banquet Hall, Hotel Crown Plaza on 1st Nov 2017, to felicitate and bid farewell to Shri Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India, who has attained superannuation this month-end. In a grand function organized in their honour, Ambassador Mr Sunil Jain and Dr Gargi Jain were felicitated.

Mr Hirak Mukherjee, Air India, Mr Ashok Angural, TCIL, Mr Siddhartha Mukherjee, Oriental Insurance Co, Mr Ram Mohan Reddy, New India Assurance, Mr Devesh Kumar,LIC, Mr Rajeev Sakuja, LICHFL, spoke about the good qualities and achievements of Mr Sunil Jain during his tenure as the Ambassador of India. In his farewell speech Mr Jain, explained in detail, the steps he had taken for helping numerous Indian citizens who were in dire need of a support, and the challenges faced by him while performing his duties.

The function was attended by other Senior Officers of Indian Embassy their family members and His Excellency Ambassador of Sudan.

Air India was the main host for the event.
