Gafoor Moodadi was not only popular among the Keralites in Kuwait but was popular among the whole Indian community. Even though he has been fighting for his life for the past several years, Gafoor was very active in the community with his ever-smiling face.

Gafoor spent more than 25 years as a photographer in Kuwait and was working as a photographer at the Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research (KISR).
