The speed limits apply to various traffic intersections on major roads. If the speed limit on that road is 45 km, the driver must adhere to this speed when passing the green light. There are intersections with different speed limits like 60 and 80 kmph.
The cameras at signal intersections photograph those who have crossed the red light and those who have exceeded the speed limit, even if the traffic light is green.
Everyone must abide by traffic rules and laws to not expose themselves to violations, MoI said.
