Dn. Prince Varghese Madathileth, born on March21,1982 in Kuwait to Mr. Raju Varghese and Mrs. Aleyamma Raju is ordained on 3 September 2010 as Priest / Kassesa of the Mar Thoma Church. Rev. Prince Varghese is the first person in the history of the 47 years of the Kuwait Mar Thoma Parish ordained for the full time ministry of the church. The ordination service was solemnized by His Grace Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan, the Supreme Bishop of the church at the National Evangelical Church of Kuwait. His Grace Elias Mar Athanasius, Bishop of the Syrian Jacobite Church, Rev. Thomas Varghese, Rev. K.G.Koshy, Rev. Kunjukoshy , Rev. A.Y. Varghese, Rev. Genil Abraham, Rev. Thomas Koshy.P, Rev. Binju Varghese, Rev. Prakash Mathew ,Priests an leaders of other Christian denominations were also present. About 2000 people comprising members of the various churches and community leaders witnessed the solemn ceremony. The priestly ordination service started at 3.15pm with a ceremonial procession leading the candidate to the sacred place of the church and the entire service came to an end by 6.15 pm. Rev. Prince Varghese studied in United Indian School till the 12th standard. He also experienced the Iraqi invasion in 1990 and the exodus to India through Iraq and Jordan.

He has also won several awards in the field of Literary and Debating and is a committed servant for Christ.

He was one of the best students of Kuwait Mar Thoma Sunday School , and he was the Head Boy of United Indian School in 1998 and was the Chairman of the Bishop Heber Hall in the Madras Christian College in 2004.

He hails from the Madathilethu family and belongs to Sehion Mar Thoma Parish , Venmony. He has two brothers Mr. Roy Varghese and Mr. Reji Varghese and one sister Ms. Angel Mariam Varghese. He is married to Candy Sarah George.

He was ordained as Deacon / Shemmash of Mar Thoma Church on July2, 2010.
