"In this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is commonly noticed that people tend to postpone their regular visit to hospitals and clinics fearing COVID-19 infection unless it is an emergency. However, at DHAMAN, we continuously sanitize our clinics by adhering to all the health protocols as per the government instructions," Dr. Asha Natesan, Family Medicine Doctor at DHAMAN, said. At KD 2 for consultation, DHAMAN is affordable to all, Dr. Asha said. "Our fees for all services are as per the prices of Ministry of Health (MoH)," Dr Asha said. DHAMAN has a dedicated team of highly qualified Family Doctors, as well as expert Dentists and Pediatricians. The consultation fee for each one of these specialties is only KD 2 only. The Family Medicine Doctors at DHAMAN have specialized training in Family Medicine and provide consultations to all age groups, from children to the elderly.
Chronic conditions, including high blood pressure (Hypertension), Diabetes, Asthma etc, are treated by their Family Medicine Doctors, in addition to any acute illness. "For children, if they require any specialized treatment, we can refer them to their pediatricians," Dr Asha said. “The concept of Family Medicine at DHAMAN is about building a personal relationship between the Family Doctor and the members of the family,” Dr. Asha added.
Currently, Family Medicine, Dental, Pediatrics, Radiology and Lab are available at DHAMAN Centers in Hawally, Farwaniya and Dhajeej.
"Never postpone your checkup, fearing COVID-19," Dr. Asha said. Regular checkups are very important, especially if you have any chronic conditions and diseases like high blood pressure, Diabetics or Asthma. DHAMAN has doctors and nurses from several countries who speak multiple languages. Indian Doctors are available in all Centers and they speak various regional languages such as Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. Currently DHAMAN Centers are available at Hawally, Farwaniya or Dhajeej. Two more Centers will be opened soon in Ahmadi and Jahra, as well as hospitals with 300 beds each.
