Embassy of India will celebrate 75th Independence Day of India with complete adherence to COVID19 related protocol and guidelines, on 15 August 2021.

As there will be no physical gathering for the event at the Embassy premises, Indian Diaspora and friends of India in Kuwait are invited to join the celebrations of Independence Day virtually, given the prevailing circumstances, Embassy said in a statement.

Ambassador will hoist the National Tricolor at 8 am at the Embassy premises and read out President's message. The event will be live streamed on Embassy's social media handles and Ambassador invites all to join the same.

The Embassy will also be organizing a musical evening as part of the Independence Day celebrations from 6:00 pm hrs onwards on 15 August 2021. These will also be live streamed on Embassy's social media handles.
