Educational excursions not only provide first hand experiences to the students but also enhance them to make them reach out of their textbooks. These trips are tailor made to facilitate the students to know and understand concepts beyond the four walls of the classroom. With these knowledge enriching scopes, Bhavans Smart Indian School organized its educational field trip to one of the most pioneering and independent scientific institutions in Kuwait—Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research (KISR).

The Principal of Smart Indian School - Mr. Mahesh Iyer, the Heads of the Science Department - Mrs. Bhavitha Bright and Mrs. Rekha Raveendran along with the students of Grade 8 stepped inside the Shuwaikh Industrial Area to explore the established scientific realm of Kuwait. Dr.Bassam a passionate scientist in KISR through his innovative rendering updated the students about the importance of science and scientific researching. The students were explained that everything in scientific research is STEM; a perfect understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. In addition to this, a short rendezvous with Dr. Neelamani also helped in increasing their interest towards science and scientific innovations and experimentations. The visit to KISR turned out to be a wonderful experience for the budding scientific minds of Bhavans Smart Indian School.
