Bhavans SIS strategizes Education in Post Covid World

Bhavans Smart Indian School has dedicated the school’s day off to organize a webinar on Post Covid-19 scenario in the field of education to its teachers. The idea to infuse the new strategies in education had come right away on the result of the increasing spree of the infected cases globally which also marks the continuation of the closure of schools for another indefinite period. Bringing together the teachers of all the departments headed by the school management made the webinar to turn into a successful one. The speaker of the day was the Senior Vice Principal of Indian Education School – Mrs. Anselma Tessy Judeson who spoke on the ways in which dynamic methodologies could be imbibed in virtual pedagogy. The seminar was also presided by the Bhavans Middle East Chairman – Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon, the school Principal – Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Vice-Principal – Ms. Albin Daisy and KG Supervisor – Ms. Rajni Menon.

The seminar shed light on the wide range of issues including the impediments faced in diverse exploration of curricular and co-curricular activities, distance teaching & learning and tackling various forms of hoax that we come across in teaching sites. Since the necessity to live with the virtual mode had increased, the creative and learning process of this side had also broadened to give way for its wider reach and reception. Underscoring all these positive aspects, the speaker had empowered the participants to normalize the suddenness of the change in the learning system followed by the effective self-learning experience with this virtual mode. The launch of this novel digital platform which emphasize the concept of change as inevitable one had also taught a great life lesson. Turning all the teaching materials to the digital format and adapting to the skills of a professional were also highlighted to ensure the changes that facilitators could undertake at any point of time. The precise and elaborate details on the nuances of pedagogy widened the horizon of thus far cultivated and followed policies in education. The detailed session was then followed by the Q/A time to let the teachers clarify several doubts. The starting and ending moments of the program paved way for a nice welcome address and a thank you note.
