“Bharani Kazhchakal 2018” Flare released

Chettikulangara Amma Pravasi Seva Samithi (CAPSS) Kuwait released flare for their “Kumba Bharani” festival named as “Bharani Kazhchakal 2018”. The Festival will conduct on 19th January of 2018 at Fintas Co-Operative Society Auditorium. On that day, programs planned to commence at 9.30 Am till 7 PM.

Mr. Vysakh. R (Operations Manager of SBC General Trading & Contracting Company), released the flare of “Bharani Kazhchakal 2018” by handing over the copy of the flare to Mr.Binoy Chandran, (Advisory board member of CAPSS and President of Mavelikara Association).

Raffle coupon also released by Mr. Subramanyan (Commercial Manager of DOKA International) by handing over to Ms. Vijayalakshmi (Managing Director of Bharathanjali Institute of Kuwait).

The public meeting was presided by President Mr. Suresh Babu while General Secretary Mr. Anand Udayan delivered the welcome note and the treasurer Mr. Rajesh R Nair delivered vote of thanks.

The program highlights are “Kuthiyotta Chuvadum pattum” lead by Sri. Pramod & Sri. Pradeep (famous kuthiyotta singers of Central Travancore) along with Sri Bhadra Kuthiyotta Samithi,Speech of Bhagavatha Chooda Mani Sri. Pallickal Sunil

,Visual treats of Bharathanjali Institute of Kuwait,“Pandi Melam” conducted by Sri. Susanth Kozhikode & Team (Keli Vadya Kala Peedam),Thalapoli,Kettukazhcha and Other varity of traditional cultural programs along with Kanji Sadya (Traditional Feast).

The Chettikulangara Kumbha Bharani festival, one of the most colourful visual spectacles with its ‘Kettukazhcha’ pageant and ‘Kuthiyottam’ performances. UNESCO is considering to include the festival on the Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

CAPSS Kuwait is a cultural organisation which is registered in Indian Embassy, Kuwait and is spread all over the Middle East as a separate individual organisations.
