Around 55 fire fighters suffered injuries at Al-Sabah health zone fire

Around 55 fire fighters suffered severe exhaustion after they were exposed to the huge huge fire that erupted at the parking lot of a building under construction In Al-Sabah health zone. Up to 300 firemen are battling the fire that broke out at 3:15 p.m. (local time).

A thermal camera employed by the department recorded that the heat at the scene hit scorching 322 degrees.

It indicated in a statement that some floors of the building had been transformed into makeshift warehouses where materials had been stacked randomly with no consideration to safety rules.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minster of Interior Anas Al-Saleh arrived at the scene to follow up closely on the incident.

The Ministry of Health formed an investigation committee in order to find out the true causes of the fire, and to take all legal measures against the cause of the fire.
