Around 18 students from 10 Indian schools participated in the Al Mulla Exchange 'Spin-a-Yarn' contest by IndiansinKuwait.com where the participants put up a great show, with each one narrating a very different story filled with humour and laughter. The audience and judges were spellbound by the mind-blowing performances of these young narrators.

In the exciting contest, Nakshatra Neeraja Binu from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan secured first prize in the Senior category, while Diya Ajith from Carmel School got first prize in the Junior category.

In the Senior category, Alaina Thomas Jinu from ICSK - Amman Branch bagged second prize and Hima Jameela from ICSK - Khaitan got third prize. In Junior, Reine Mary John from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan bagged second prize and Avantika V.B. from FAIPS - DPS got third prize.

All the contestants presented a humorous and funny talk on serious topics to catch the audience and take them to a new level of imagination.

This contest also provided a platform for the audience and parents to watch how the children develop their personalities through communication skills. The winners received Trophies, certificates, School Bags and gifts sponsored by Al Mulla Exchange. Mr Huzefa Abbasi , Marketing Manager of Al Mulla Exchange, Mr Surya Prakash, Chief Judge and IIK Officials attended the prize distribution ceremony.

The Spin A Yarn Contest was very well conducted by Emcee Dhyan Thomas, Contest Chair for Junior Abhiram Shyam Mohan and Contest Chair for Senior Diya Lizbeth Jerry.

The contest was judged by Dr Navniit Gandhi, Mrs Parimita Barooah, Dr. Ananthapriya Vaidya and Chief Judge -Mr Surya S Prakash. The contest was sponsored by Al Mulla Exchange and Venue Sponsor is Indian Community School (ICSK) - Senior Branch.
