My Ideal Summer Routine

“Deep Summer is when Laziness finds respectability”- Sam Keen. Since Summer Break has started, I Ruhaanee, thought of just telling all of you about what I do in my Summer Holidays. Even though it’s just the start of the holiday, I am so determined to utilize my time during this wonderful season but at the same time, I also use up lots of time by just relaxing on the bed as well! Firstly, this is just my ideal routine because I have extra- classes during the break which leads to the change in my schedule. I start off by a positive morning prayer to god and try to spread positivity, not just at home, but also to the world! Secondly, I perform oil pulling almost every day - (act of rinsing our mouth to remove bacteria) and exercise daily in the mornings, too. Then, I take a quick phone break just to entertain myself and then, start my main routine. Since I am an avid reader, I like to read for about 15-30 minutes just to catch up on the latest tea going on in the books that I read. Further, I take a bath to freshen myself up and have my brunch. Right after that, I start studying math to revise my topics even though it gets a little hard at times, and if I have some doubts, I keep them for my tutor so she can clear them when I have my math classes. In Addition to that, I take a phone break to refresh myself and start practicing dances on YouTube for a while because that’s one of my favourite things to do during the Summer. Also, on some days, I edit some of my YouTube videos so that I can upload them on this social platform. Apart from that, I take some of my time to spend it with my sister by playing games such as hangman or we even watch some videos on YouTube to please us. Further, I connect to my religion by singing holy hymns and prayers to comfort me during good and bad days. Also, there are other things that I do, such as going to the park, but as I mentioned earlier, these are the things that I do most commonly. And then of course, I read my book at night and then, go to sleep! So, to conclude, I would like to say that I hope all of you continue to enjoy not just your summer break, but also every day so that you can utilize them and relish those memories because I try to do the same things in my life as well! As Kellie Elmore said, “Some of the best memories are made in flip-flops”.
