New Indian School celebrated Republic Day

New Indian School Mangaf celebrated India's 74th Republic Day with great zeal. The proud moment when the Constitution of India came into existence is celebrated as Indian Republic Day on January 26 every year. Although India gained independence from British rule on August 15, 1947, the true spirit of independence could be felt on January 26, 1950, when the Constitution was put into effect.

There were special assemblies at all the levels of school. The assemblies filled the students with true patriotism. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of being Indian.

The assembly commenced with the melodious prayer song, which was followed by poignant observations on the day that stoked everyone's sense of patriotism. Through their speeches, the kids enlivened the audience with their fervor and love for the nation. Students captivated the audience with a dance performance while showcasing the diverse cultures of our country.

Our principal, Mrs. Anita Sadanand, praised the students' performance and challenged them to continue striving for excellence while always feeling happy to be Indian. She also educated the children about the importance of Republic Day and urged the students to look beyond racial, ethnic, and social barriers. She mentioned that the school almanac is their constitution, and all the students should always read it and abide by the rules and regulations of the school.

The Indian National Anthem was sung with great pride by all the students. This Republic Day serves to not only honor the contributions of all those noble individuals, but it also serves as a reminder of our responsibilities as Indian citizens to uphold the rule of law and the constitution.
