Sharada Sangeetha Vidyalaya (SSV) successfully organized its 15th Anniversary event titled “Sharadambal Vaibhavam”, an evening of Carnatic Vocal performances, at the Indian Community School Kuwait (Senior) Auditorium, Salmiya on Friday, 30th December 2022. The program started at 5 PM with the lighting of the lamp, by the Chief Guests Karnataka Kalashri Guru Rangashree, Sri. P.T. Narayanan, the Guru and other esteemed guests. Fifteen children of different age groups and seven ladies under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Devi Hariharan, presented the Indian Classical art form through 22 krithis with zeal. The students were accompanied for the program by Vidwan Sri. Perunna G. Harikumar on the Mridangam, Smt. Sheeba Peyton on the Violin and Sri. Ragesh V. Ramakrishnan on the Ghatom. The program ended with the Dhanashree Thillana and Mangalam, after which the participants and audience received dinner packets prepared by Saravanaa Bhavan. All the students received mementos in appreciation of their performance with the best wishes of the Guru, the Chief Guests and members of the Orchestra.
