Books: A Unique Magic

“That’s the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet.” –Jhumpa Lahiri

The greatest dependable friend you can have is a book. Have you ever requested your parents to take you in a tour and they declined? Well, what are you waiting for? Take a book. There are numerous books that can give an accurate impression of the venue you desire to go. You can also take books as a relaxant. In all moods, from the immense quantity you can choose a book that makes you feel better. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape.

In my reading collection, I have read fictional book such as Harry Potter, myth fiction like Shiva Trilogy, autobiography and memoirs such as Diary of Anne Frank, Wings of Fire, The Secret of Success and more. My reading habit started in fifth grade after I read Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling. I was in wonder how the author could describe about a place she has not once seen so realistically and the way she defined the characters and their thoughts. From there began my interest towards books and it has not once stopped. I have read numerous books and from this article I want others to experience this mystic world as well.

Do you know how to classify a fine book? Once you finish reading the final line and you feel like you lost a close friend, then the book was remarkable. It doesn’t matter what genre your book is; the vital part is that you enjoy it. Nevertheless, as you linger in the same genre for an extended phase, it begins reflecting in your behaviour as well. So, avoid reading the similar genre constantly and attempt reading other books.

Now let us perceive the long-term advantages of reading, verified by researchers. Books assist in enhancing our vision, thinking, imagination and our intelligence. Due to the various new words we read, the next time there is a spell bee or an essay writing competition, we can top it. Additionally, books decrease anxiety, inspire you and aid in building your self-esteem. Reading is crucial to those who pursue to rise beyond the ordinary. If you don’t like to read, it is frequently because you haven’t attempted to read or you haven’t found the right book. I conclude using the quote by George R. R. Martin,

“A Reader lives a thousand lives before demise.”
