“Come let us get together and make the Earth a better place to live in”, says the founder of the Scouts and Guides, Lord Robert Baden Powell. After two long years of the pandemic, the corridors and grounds of Carmel School, are abounding with joy for the entry of the Scouts and Guides to be on guard once again.
On 26th September, 2022, students of class III took an oath before their classmates at the Investiture Ceremony. Dressed in their impressive uniforms, they will be doing their duties of maintaining discipline, cleanliness and assisting those around in the school.
The Scouts and Guides teach students team work, loyalty, ethics, leadership skills, patriotism etc. This builds self-confidence among students and helps in their physical, mental, emotional, social, and intellectual development, which plays an important role in building a productive society.
Congratulations to all the newly inducted Scouts and Guides and may you carry forward your motto “Be Prepared”.
