“Grandparents are the footsteps to the future generations.”

Thursday, September 15, 2022
“Grandparents are the footsteps to the future generations.”

Grandparents are the ones who help to create a strong foundation for the forthcoming generations and act as the strong pillars for the entire family. Grandparents and children have a special bond that is proven to both, make grandparents live longer and also make children emotionally resilient.

To celebrate this everlasting bond of love and affection, the tiny tots of Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Pre-School, with great enthusiasm, celebrated Grand Parents Day on 12th September 2022. Teachers emphasized the importance of grandparents' role in a family. The children of KG-1 and KG-2 created a beautiful paper puppet of their grandparents with a heartfelt message dedicated to their loving grandparents. They fondly talked about their grandparents, some children even acted like their grandparents and shared their memories of time spent together.

The basic aim of celebrating Grandparents Day is to create awareness among the children of the moral support, information, and guidance they can offer and value their presence in our lives, and help children become more affectionate and loving towards their grandparents. The celebration ended with a promise by the children to honor, respect, and show love and care for their grandparents.
