Community League’s long-awaited season 2 finally kicked off with an astounding attendance of spectators as well as the 11 teams that participated in the first leg of the tournament that started on Friday the 19th
A great scenic backdrop, cool temperatures, great playing surfaces, and some good spirited competition all contributed to a successful start to the Community league tournament held at the football grounds in Boulevard, Salmiya
The competition was fierce and friendly with teams battling to win and at the same time showing respect and appreciation for their opponents’ efforts with an impressive performance from all the athletes.
With some tough losses and spirited wins, the evening was full of excitement and thrill as the teams who competed throughout the day all tried their level best to make their way up the team standings
With 2 games in the day, most of the teams had an equal opportunity to take the top spot in the fixtures but despite the efforts of all the teams participating there were just a few that managed to shine through with an exceptional performance on the pitch namely SPARX FC , Black & White Kozikhode , Southall united and young shooters abassiya.
