“Firmness, tolerance, patience and steadfastness level was very high in the life of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and to implement his teachings in one’s life is the real love and respect to the Prophet PBUH”, complimented Professor Ayaz Ahmed Islahi, guest speaker from India, in his thought-provoking speech about the life of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and His revolutionary characteristics. Professor Islahi was addressing the online program, organized by Indian Muslim Association Kuwait on 21st Oct 2021 at 7:30 pm on “Patience & Steadfastness in prophetic teachings”.
He explicitly highlighted that the quality which makes a man’s character great, indomitable, strong and brave is his patience and steadfastness at crucial time. He stated that Prophet Mohammad’s life was the best example of patience and steadfastness for his followers in particular and for mankind also. He also stressed that every single day or the moment spent in Makkah or his visit to Taif and the deaths of Abu Talib and his beloved wife Bibi Khadija was full of trials at different level which he faced solemnly with firmness, patience and steadfastness, leaving an example of a best role model behind his life for others. He further emphasized that even after migration to Madina Prophet PBUH faced more challenges at high level on all instants like migration to Madina, during the battles of Badr, Uhud, Trench “????” and Hunayn. Everything apparently was not in favor of Prophet PBUH and his companions but it was the high level of Prophet’s patience which dominated and played a vital role in his decisions taken during those difficult times, and turning them in to a clear victory against the enemy.
He concluded his speech by saying that all these incidents from Prophet’s life teaches us that we should be patient and steadfast in the face of adversity rather than seeking vengeance.
A quiz session followed the chief guest speech on “The Biography of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)”. The session was conducted & moderated by Mr. Nazeer Ahmed by interacting with an overwhelming majority of audiences attending the program. Later on a beautiful Naat (Poem) was recited by Mr Jawwad Ahmed Khan.
