Nowadays, people can’t live without internet. Internet is a source which helps us in studying, communication; online shopping, banking, etc… People also keep many records and personal information online to make their work easy. But, there are some people who hack others computer and get the information such as phone numbers, credit card number, home address and much more. To avoid these hackers we have to be careful with the computers. And young children should be also checked when they are using the internet. So, we have to make sure of the Internet safety. Cyber safety is a procedure or technique to ensure information security goals. It can be also known as cyber safety, internet security, IT security, information security, digital security, etc…. Cyber safety means protecting programmes and other information from unauthorized access. A computer which is not having security controls can be infected with viruses and any other personal information can be leaked. Many inappropriate websites also infects the computer and allow the hackers to access our information and make illegal transactions. We have to keep a strong password so that the information cannot be stolen. There are many advantages and disadvantages of cyber safety like it protect the system from virus warms and unwanted programs what it makes the system slower than before. Cyber safety gives privacy to users but it could be costly for average users so it is important to protect our computer system from cyber threats. Everyone should learn how to keep the computer safe from cyber threats and create a safer environment.
