Indian Embassy Issues Advisory On Covid 19

All Indian nationals in the State of Kuwait are advised to adhere to and abide by the regulations and procedures announced by the Government of the State of Kuwait to combat and limit the spread of the COVID-19 as part of our individual and collective responsibility to deal with the pandemic.

It may be noted that the Government of State of Kuwait has consistently emphasized on the need to follow all the precautionary measures and guidelines issued by the concerned authorities. All Indian nationals are urged to take all necessary precautions in this regard including by avoiding all social gatherings.

The Embassy also encourages the Indian Community members, specifically the ones who have had a recent history of contact with any COVID-19 positive patient and/or showing any symptoms (fever, cough, breathlessness), to immediately visit the nearest health facility for appropriate medical consultation/check-up without any hesitation or delay.

Members of the Indian community are also advised not to panic and to reach out to the Embassy over phone or email for any assistance. Consular, Labour and

Welfare Wings of the Embassy and the passport offices in Sharq, Jleeb Al Shuwaikh and Fahaheel will continue to function normally. All visitors to these offices are advised to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 protocol and guidelines.

The Embassy has been operating five (5) dedicated helpline numbers: +965 65806158/65806735/65807695/65808923 (0800 to 2000 hrs.) & +965 65809348 (2000 to 0800 hrs.) in addition to Embassy’s regular and emergency numbers. Assistance requests may also be sent to the email ID: [email protected]. Indian nationals may also keep track of Embassy’s website (www.indembkwt.gov.in) and social media accounts (Twitter: @indembkwt, Facebook: @indianembassykuwait) for updates.
