Popular traditional Malabar restaurant in Kuwait 'Thakkara' opened their third branch in Farwaniya on Saturday, 22nd August. Thakkara, a unique concept restaurant, brings exotic Malabar delicacies from the place of its origin, to break the monotony of food available in Kuwait.
After the grand success of Thakkara in Fahaheel and in Salmiya, 'Thakkara' opened their third show room in Farwaniya next to Sana Roundabout, between Gulf Mart and Panasonic Showroom.
The restaurant was inaugurated by Mr Hamoud Al Fadil in presence of other dignitaries and invitees. The exclusively made ‘Kettuvallam’ party hall was inaugurated by Mr Ayub Kechery, MD Grand Hypermarket and 'Mananchira' party hall was inaugurated by Mr Khalil Ayoor.
“Thakkara” – closely resembles “Thakkaram”; a colloquial used by Malabar Muslims from the Northern Kerala for the food feast. The restaurant is specialized in exclusive Malabar cuisine, which is a distinctive one among the Kerala cuisines.
The Chefs at Thakkara are flown down from Kerala who are well-versed in preparing the Malabari food for decades, officials told. Thakkara offers you oasis of culinary delights that can transport you to the shores of northern Kerala, officials added.
