Maximum temperature recorded in the Kuwaiti desert was over 53 degrees, registered in Mtarba area in the northwest at 12 at noon, while the figure was above 50 degrees in Kuwait City on Tuesday as per the Kuwait news agency report.

The Civil Aviation's website weather data showed highest temperatures in Al-Jahra, Abdeli, and Wafra areas with low humidity.

The data meanwhile showed decrease in maximum temperatures recorded in the southern islands of Qarooh and Um Al-Maradem, due to hike in relative humidity.

See, the government has very good rules for the laborer and those people who works out side, i mean in the field.
Workers could not allow to work in extreme temperature. If any one caught not to abide the rule of kuwait, the company has responsible and answerable for this.Kuwait govt. has enough taken care of expatriates. Suppose the same situation happened in India, nothing has been taken care from the Govt.
Even no rules for the workers for this condition. For them (workers) have to work for bread.
I am very thankful to kuwait Govt. to take care of the poor people laborer and road man.

Kuwait is gifted with abundant amount of solar energy. Also widespread areas in desert are available to make use of for setting up solar farms which will generate sufficient amount of power. Germany has successfully implemented use of solar energy for household, which can be easily implemented in Kuwait household and apartments for lighting and water heater applications. What is needed is capital expenditure and political will.

In morning when I start car at 6:30am, its 42-43 degree C many days last week. At 3:30 to 4:00pm, its 49-50 degree C.

Main requirement of electrical power in household and offices is air-conditioners (HVAC). If govt reduces working hours by 1 hr in peak summer days, big power saving will be achieved from switching off HVAC only.

Govt of Kuwait should seriously think of this option.

More than 10,000 Indians are working in Arifjan on this hot climate where there is more than 50 degree.

Mr. Ambassador, Kindly do some favor for these indians working there

Kuwait Govt issue high consumption of electricity. Temp soaring above 50C is bad not suitable for working. why cant govt reduce working hours atleast by 2-3hrs?It is very much possible so that we can save power.
