Dead body of Indian expat, who died in Kuwait didn’t reach Indian airport as it got stuck at Abu Dhabi airport. The mortal remains of Hussain Kutty was sent from Kuwait on Etihad Airways to Kerala, however the mortal remains was not sent on the connection flight from Abu Dhabi as per the booking. The relatives and friends who were waiting at Kerala's Calicut airport was shocked to know that the mortal remains had not reached Calicut as per the schedule. Relatives had made all the arrangements required for the cremation as they were informed from Kuwait that the body was sent to Calicut airport on Tuesday's Etihad flight.

Etihad Airways sight technical issues for the problem. Arrangements are made by the airlines to send the dead body on Friday, airlines confirmed. However, the community organization Kuwait KMCC, which initiated the process in Kuwait for sending the mortal remains of Hussain Kutty said that al formalities are done before sending the mortal remains as per the regulation. The association is planning to register formal complaint against the Airlines for their total negligence in this matter, association leaders informed.

Heart felt condolences to his family.may his soul rest in peace.

For sending a body to india, we need to do many paper works in kuwait like collecting BALLACK WAFATH,embassy authorisation letter, shahadath wafath, translation of shahadath wafath, embalment certificate arabic and english, cargo intimation, body transfer paper, authorisation from concerned airport in india, cancellation of pp, making the coffin sealing in front of an embassy authorised personal etc. may be these works will not be cleared with in a day. So according to that only somebody can check for flight ...so if the body stays here for 1 or 2 days the person/ association doing the paper works will opt for the nxt flight even if its a connection/ direct.also kuwait airways charge around kd 400/420 for sending body to india.so jazeera/ connection flights are the option.me and our association is helping peoples in india in these kind of matters without any caste/ state barrier.we did nt felt any inconvinience from indian embassy side in these kind of matters.

Dear Viewers,

I too feel the same what you feel but one thing I want to bring to your notice about them who''s reports are not being address on this website. There are plenty of people who died in Kuwait but not reported then why a particular person only you are concentrating why your justice or consideration not going in general for others.

There are so many dead bodies in the Farwaniya Dajeej which are not being collected due to delay in clearance from the ministry of justice and especially from Indian embassy. Sometimes getting clearance from the Indian embassy took more 10 days.

So kindly do justice with all for all not for particular person, region please.

but God is watching ,
the pain will be felt when it happens to ones own family. until then all these negligence will stay .

But when he expired in Kuwait - why was Etihad preferred.

Thank you & best regards

Rest in peace Mr Hussainkutty and condolences to his family.

This is most atrocious mishandling by the airlines and association. Any person will tell you direct flights are what''s recommended for flying remains.
